Depending on the relevant Service and applicable law, LingoAI Ltd may act as a data controller, processor, service provider, organisation, or data intermediary with respect to personal data processed through the Services.

2.1 Account Information

We may collect your name or username, email address, account identifiers, profile information, authentication information, language and regional preferences, and other information you choose to provide.

2.2 Wallet and Blockchain Information

If you connect a blockchain wallet or use Web3-enabled features, we may process public wallet addresses, blockchain transaction identifiers, token-related activity, smart contract interactions, signatures used for authentication or authorisation, and publicly available blockchain information associated with your wallet.

Blockchain networks may be public and immutable. Information recorded on a public blockchain may remain permanently accessible and may not be capable of being modified or deleted by LingoAI.

LingoAI will never ask you to provide your wallet private key or seed phrase.

2.3 Content You Provide

Depending on the Services you use, you may submit or upload text, chat messages, documents, images, audio, voice recordings, video, datasets, transaction or purchase records, receipts, notes, preferences, profile information, AI prompts and instructions, and other files or information.

We refer to this information collectively as "User Content."

2.4 Holon and Personal AI Data

If you use Holon, LingoAI may process information to create and maintain personalised AI functionality, including memories derived from User Content; entities, relationships, and contextual information; personal knowledge graphs or ontologies; preferences and interests; task and activity context; interaction history; permissions and authorisation settings; and information generated or inferred from content you provide.

These features are intended to help Holon understand your context and provide more personalised and useful responses.

Where available, LingoAI may provide controls that allow you to review, manage, authorise, export, or delete certain information associated with your Holon.

2.5 Voice and Language Data

When you participate in Voice Studio, language-data programmes, AI training-data programmes, or other contribution activities, we may collect voice recordings, language and accent information, transcription data, recording metadata, quality-control information, contributor information, and other information required for the applicable project.

Specific projects may be governed by additional consent forms, contributor agreements, dataset licences, or project-specific privacy notices.

2.6 Usage and Technical Information

We may automatically collect IP addresses, browser and device information, operating system information, application versions, approximate geographic region, logs, timestamps, pages or features accessed, performance information, and security or fraud-prevention signals.

2.7 Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate and secure the Services, maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure performance, understand use of the Services, and improve user experience.

We may process information to provide and operate the Services; authenticate users; provide AI responses; store and process User Content; personalise Holon; build and update personal ontologies or knowledge graphs; maintain memory and contextual information; provide AI agent functionality; manage data permissions; process authorised data contributions; operate Data Marketplace functionality; provide rewards or compensation where applicable; improve, maintain, and secure our Services; detect fraud or abuse; investigate security incidents; comply with applicable laws; and enforce our agreements.

4. AI PROCESSING

Some LingoAI Services use artificial intelligence and machine-learning systems.

Information submitted to an AI feature may be processed by LingoAI systems and, where necessary, authorised infrastructure, AI model, or service providers used to provide the requested functionality.

LingoAI may use retrieval systems, personal knowledge graphs, ontologies, memory systems, and other technologies to provide contextual and personalised responses.

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for a particular purpose. Users should independently verify important information.

5. YOUR DATA AND AI MODEL TRAINING

LingoAI distinguishes between:

Personal Service Processing — processing required to provide personalised functionality to you, including Holon memory, retrieval, ontology construction, contextualisation, and AI responses.

Model and Service Improvement — processing used to improve LingoAI's models, algorithms, systems, safety, performance, or Services.

Dataset Contribution — data that you intentionally contribute, license, or authorise for a particular dataset, research project, AI development programme, marketplace transaction, or other disclosed purpose.

Where required by applicable law or the applicable Service, we will provide appropriate notice, consent, permission, or opt-out mechanisms.

Participation in one data contribution programme does not automatically grant LingoAI unrestricted rights to unrelated personal information.

6. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We may disclose information to infrastructure and cloud providers; AI model providers; storage and security providers; analytics and communications providers; payment providers; authorised dataset users; counterparties specifically authorised by users; professional advisers; corporate transaction counterparties; and governmental, regulatory, or legal authorities where required by law.

Where a user expressly participates in a data contribution, licensing, research, or marketplace programme, authorised data may be made available in accordance with the applicable permissions, licences, consent, and project terms.

7. DATA OWNERSHIP

As between you and LingoAI, you retain the rights you have in the original User Content you provide.

Uploading data to LingoAI does not, by itself, transfer ownership of your original content to LingoAI.

You grant LingoAI the limited rights necessary to process User Content to provide the Services and perform activities you specifically authorise.

Separate data contribution programmes may involve additional licences or permissions.

8. DATA AUTHORISATION

Certain LingoAI Services are designed around user-controlled data permissions.

Where supported, you may authorise specific AI agents, applications, researchers, enterprises, or other parties to access or use specified information for defined purposes.

You are responsible for reviewing permissions before granting access.

Permissions recorded through blockchain or decentralised infrastructure may have characteristics including persistence and public verifiability.

9. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, maintain security, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may vary based on the type of information, relevant Service, user instructions, contractual obligations, legal requirements, and technical characteristics of decentralised systems.

Information recorded directly on a public blockchain may not be technically capable of being deleted or modified by LingoAI.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

LingoAI operates internationally. Information may therefore be processed or stored outside the country in which you reside.

Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate measures designed to protect personal data transferred internationally.
