Key participants include WDTA Executive Director and United Nations Technology Committee Chair Advisor Academician Yale Li, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Vice President, Wang Yang, WDTA AI STR Working Group Co-Chair Ken Huang, CISSP, HK Web3.0 Standardization Association Executive President Li Ming.
Last month, WDTA successfully hosted an official side event of the UN Future Summit in New York, titled "Digital Identity in the AI Era." UN Secretary-General António Guterres further emphasized that UN 2.0 will center around digital transformation, calling for global digital solutions to address the future reshaped by AI.
We will see the UN taking a more proactive role in internet and AI governance and promoting global adoption through key publications such as the “Global Digital Compact”, “Governing AI for Humanity”, and “AI from Global Majority”, which were introduced at the Future Summit.
This forum is hosted by the WDTA, organized by Meta-Edge Technology, and co-organized by the Hong Kong Web3.0 Standardization Association.
