The World Web3 Expo and LingoAI Co-Initiate the "Global AI & Web3.0 Summit: Reshaping Connectivity and Intelligence"
On September 23, the W2140 World Web3 Expo Organizing Committee (W2140EXPO) and LingoAI jointly announced that the world’s leading multilingual, multimodal decentralized AI data platform, LingoAI, has formed a strategic partnership with the World Web3 Expo. Together, they will launch the AI-themed conference at the Bangkok edition of the W2140 World Expo—“Global AI & Web3.0 Summit: Reshaping Connectivity and Intelligence.”
The Minister of Digital Economy and Society of Thailand will attend the summit and deliver the opening address. The conference will bring together dozens of distinguished guests, including leading scholars in AI and Web3.0, renowned entrepreneurs, and representatives from international organizations, for brainstorming sessions and knowledge-sharing.
The "Global AI & Web3.0 Summit: Reshaping Connectivity and Intelligence" will be held from November 12-14 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre, alongside the W2140 World Expo in Bangkok.
Focusing on "The Integration of AI and Web3.0," the summit will showcase cutting-edge theories and technologies of large language models, newly launched AI governance frameworks by the United Nations, the Global AI Fund, lightweight AI models and AI agents that run on mobile devices, Southeast Asia’s first large language model data flywheel system, and Web3.0 mechanisms to bridge the AI divide between the Global North and South. The summit will also delve into essential survival skills and strategies for wealth creation in the era of AI and Web3.0.
Urgent Need for UN AI Governance
On September 20, the United Nations released the report "Governing AI for Humanity". The report emphasizes that with the rapid development of AI technologies, their impact has transcended national boundaries. AI’s foundational resources, such as critical minerals and training data, have global origins, and as a cross-border general-purpose technology, AI applications are widespread across the globe. Thus, while AI offers enormous economic and social potential, it also centralizes global power and wealth, creating geopolitical and economic impacts. The report argues that no single country or market can effectively control or regulate AI’s development—global cooperation is essential.
Decentralization is the new foundation for global cooperation, and Web3.0—the next generation Web—is creating a new, decentralized internet order connecting all of humanity, solving the data monopoly problem of Web2.0 platforms. Thus, LingoAI and the World Web3 Alliance (W3A) believe that the global adoption and cooperation of Web3.0 is key to resolving AI governance issues and redefining the mechanisms for wealth distribution generated by AI. This is the essence of the summit's title, "Global AI & Web3.0 Summit: Reshaping Connectivity and Intelligence."
Following the strategic partnership between LingoAI and the W2140 World Web3 Expo, the expo will focus on universal encryption standards, combined with LingoAI’s strengths in the industry, to elevate global understanding of true Web3.0, and promote the integrated development of AI and Web3.0, accelerating their adoption worldwide.
For LingoAI, the integration and unification of AI and Web3.0 in the fields of semantic web and token switching, as related to the theme of this summit, will open a window for AI companies, a door for Web3 companies, and pave a path for humanity to harness AI through Web3.0 on the road to prosperity.
About LingoAI
Headquartered in Singapore, LingoAI is a multilingual, multimodal decentralized AI data platform. LingoAI has defined the world’s first Web3.0 AI agent, LingoPod—an intelligent earphone driven by deep learning neural networks and large language models, designed to overcome real-time cross-linguistic communication barriers for 8 billion people worldwide. In addition, LingoPod incentivizes users to contribute multilingual datasets using Lingo tokens, addressing the shortage of data that limits the usability of large models in many languages, thus supporting all large model teams globally. LingoPod also aids in critical United Nations missions: preserving endangered languages and cultures, especially those that passed down orally through generations without written scripts.
LingoPod builds a Decentralized AI data Physical Infrastructure Network, DePIN, from bottom up. Through the integration of AI and DePIN, LingoAI is rebuilding the “Tower of Babel” in the AI era. Based on the Web3.0 Semantic Web, LingoAI utilizes SOLID (Social Linked Data) by the father of the World Wide Web and MetaLife.Social protocols in SmartMesh ecosystem to achieve the separation of data and applications, ensuring personal data privacy. Blockchain-based verification guarantees the security of value exchange in all data transactions. LingoAI aims to establish a global decentralized data marketplace, breaking the AI data bottleneck caused by data silos in Web2.0 and paving the way for large-scale AI mass adoption.
The LingoAI team comprises experts from Stanford University, Peking University, Harvard University, the University of Washington, Nanyang Technological University, the University of Toronto, JPMorgan Chase, and other renowned institutions. The development team has a strong technical background and extensive academic resources in the fields of AI and Web3.0.
